Overview

This page documents our process for collecting and maintaining consent from customers who opt in to receive SMS messages from Air Care Companies, Inc. This documentation serves as proof of consent as required by messaging service providers, including Twilio.

Consent Collection Method

We collect explicit consent from customers through the following methods:

Verbal Consent Process

  1. During customer interactions (e.g., sales calls, customer service), our representatives explain:
    • The purpose of our text messages
    • The types of messages customers will receive
    • Approximate frequency of messages
    • Any potential standard messaging rates that may apply
  2. Our script for obtaining verbal consent: "Would you like to receive text message updates from MyMoldDetective regarding in home mold testing? You can expect to receive one message. Message and data rates may apply, and you can opt out at any time by replying STOP to any message."
  3. The customer’s verbal consent is recorded in our CRM with:
    • Date and time of consent
    • Customer’s phone number
    • Representative who obtained consent
    • Notes documenting verbal agreement

Consent Record Keeping

Each consent record includes:

  • Customer name
  • Phone number
  • Date and time of consent
  • Employee who recorded the consent

Opt-Out Process

Customers can opt out of our SMS messages at any time by:

  1. Replying “STOP” to any message
  2. Contacting customer service at (404) 990-4470
  3. Emailing service@aircarecompanies.com

Message Examples

Examples of messages customers will receive:

  • “Here is a link to the information you requested about in-home mold testing. [Link]”

Compliance Measures

We maintain compliance with SMS messaging regulations by:

  1. Never sending messages to customers who have not provided consent
  2. Maintaining accurate records of all consent
  3. Honoring opt-out requests immediately
  4. Including opt-out instructions periodically
  5. Sending messages only for the purposes disclosed during consent
  6. Adhering to frequency expectations established during consent
